This electrocardiogram demonstrates left ventricular hypertrophy.

The characteristic features of left ventricular hypertrophy include
short tall R waves + negative T waves in left precordial leads. In a child or young adult, the small or absent Q waves in left precordial leads also suggests left ventricular hypertrophy, because well defined, narrow Q waves normally are present in precordial leads V6 and V7.
