You are incorrect - the best interpretation of the chest X rays in our patient is normal heart and lungs with straightened spine.

This chest X ray demonstrates abnormal thoracic kyphosis. There is increased flexion of the spine usually increasing the distance between the lower sternum and spine. The lung apices appear to have increased volume the cardiac contours in the mid line and globular. The lower heart borders are submerged in the elevated diaphragmatic shadow and are, therefore, indistinct. The heart may actually appear smaller than it is.
